Timothy Okwatta is a partner in CMFC. He is the leader of CMFC Financial Services practice. He has more than 25 years of experience with banking sector. He holds additional experience in Cooperative activities and project management.
Timothy has led a broad range of engagements on bank restructuring especially in cost saving initiatives, product and pricing strategies, operational improvement, policy documentation and review. His sector experience spans retail and corporate banking, investment banking, cooperative management, asset management and wealth management/private banking. He has worked closely with a number of institutions to help them fundamentally reorganise their business.
Outside of CMFC, Timothy served on the Supervisory Board of Kenya Bankers Sacco and in various boards of church based organisations.
Timothy has a Msc. of Commerce from the KCA University and a BBA degree from Kenya Methodist University. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a quantitative finance expert with a bias in Econometric Modelling.
